The team at The Generation Company, Promise’s AI innovation lab and production services division, had the unique opportunity to work on UFC Freedom 250, a one-of-a-kind event at the White House that aired in 170 countries on Sunday, June 14 as part of a series of celebrations honoring America's 250th birthday.
Our role involved creating more than 150 shots and sequences across three short films celebrating pivotal moments in American history. To do this, our team of artists utilized a hybrid approach that combined archival footage with AI-generated imagery, motion graphics, dynamic transitions, and visual storytelling techniques designed to bridge the past and present.
What excited us most about the project was that each film approached American history from a different perspective.
"Americana: The Flag" featured a speech from Ronald Reagan and explored the symbolism of the American flag through a look back at our nation's history.

A second film, "Americana: The Walk," chronicled iconic moments of determination throughout American history through the footsteps of those who helped shape our nation's story.

Finally, "The Declaration" examined how words and ideas can inspire action, summon courage, and champion the cause of freedom, using a highly stylized visual language of typography, ink, and illustration.

UFC recently announced that Freedom 250 reached more than 17 million viewers on Paramount+ across the U.S. and Latin America, with total global viewership climbing to 34 million through additional broadcast partners. In the U.S. alone, the event averaged 7 million viewers, making UFC Freedom 250 the most-watched UFC event in the organization's history.
It was an honor to contribute to a project celebrating 250 years of bravery, conviction, sacrifice, and possibility.
