The Hollywood Reporter's Alex Weprin covered the launch of The Generation Company, our division built to deliver visual effects and custom sequences for outside studios and production partners.


Our Co-founder, President and COO Jamie Byrne framed the intent for THR, that we come to partners as a creative ally, helping them realize their vision and push ideas past the limits of conventional resources, timelines and budgets.


The division is led by Nem Perez, a filmmaker and creative technologist who founded the virtual production company Storyblocker and directed music videos for Mac Miller, Nipsey Hussle and Chance the Rapper, and who oversees projects from early previsualization through the final frame.


Nem put it in the terms that matter most to the creative community, that the technology exists to serve the artist, opening the door to cinematic moments that might otherwise be out of reach, and that it is about honoring the craft while expanding what is possible on screen.
